On Fri 31 March, the Butterfly House, Animal Walk, Bandstand Terrace, and Horniman Drive gates and path will be closed for resurfacing works. Blue Badge parking is closed. Please follow signs on site.
We strongly advise visitors to book tickets in advance to avoid queuing, due to reduced till points at the Ticket Desk.
A basket made by Bernas Licos' sister-in-law, Ginyan Sugaan, in 1986. It is made from thin strips of bamboo and tied with vine and rattan supports. The strap is made from bark. Bernas inherited this basket from his father and used it to store his medicines.
