Pewter candlestick cast with a tube rising from a baluster-shaped column, with two squared cups above and below, mounted on a pedestal base with stylised cloud-shaped feet. The remains of a red candle are inserted. It is part of an altar set of five items. Both the base and inside the upper squared cup are impressed with two marks: 1. 'Zhang hong fa yuan' (maker's mark), 'originating from Zhang hong fa'. 2. 'dian xi bao yong' (hallmark), 'made of tin alloy'.
