Taxidermy case of adult male and adult female Mallard. According to Edward Hart, writing on 9 April 1927, 'Left (no 1): adult female, January 25th 1881; right (no 2): adult male, January 25th 1881. Shot by me at Podney, River Avon, Nr Christchurch. Sexes differ; summer and winter plumage the same. Mounted by me'.
