Long rectangular, cream barkcloth ('sulu') with cut fringing at both longer sides. The textile appears to be part of a longer cloth as one short side appears to be torn, and the other cut. The decoration consists of stencilled patterns and motifs in mid and dark brown. It divideds the cloth into a centre field framed by borders on both longer sides. The centre field is divided into 3 longer sections by sets of bands. The longer sections contain 2 wider separated by a narrower stripe.1wider stripe contains larger and small stencilled star- or floral shaped motifs. The other wider stripe contains 2 alternating different square patterns. At each set of bands the 2 wider stripes exchange places within the centre field.
