Strap, possibly to go around horse's chest? Leather, coloured black and with gold leaf decoration cosisting of 6 crests (mon) stamped and embossed and a border. Reverse plain black. The strap is narrow at the centre and curves to either side, ending with a loop made of red cord at one end and with two red cords at the other. The mon is the tachibana (a citrus), the crest of a daimyo.
